Privacy

A plain description of what's logged when you use PoolInfo 2.0, kept up to date with what the code actually does.

What we log

When you load the homepage, a pool details page, or the admin page, the server records:

This is used only for internal traffic statistics (visit counts, top pages, unique visitor counts by IP) shown on an admin dashboard. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for this data.

What we don't do

Requesting a pool's data

When you look up a pool or run a relay/metadata check, PoolInfo 2.0 makes a live request to the Koios API (for pool data) and, for metadata verification, to the pool operator's own metadata URL. Those requests happen server-side - your IP is not exposed to Koios or to the pool operator's metadata host as part of that lookup.

The promotion request form

If you submit a request on the promotion page, the pool ID, requested dates, and whatever contact details you provide (Discord handle and/or email) are stored so we can follow up about pricing. That information is only used to respond to your request.
